Host Your Retreat at Tumbo

Bring your program. We handle everything else.

You've built the program. You know your people. You have the vision. What you need is a venue that matches the transformation you're creating without the logistical headaches that come with it. Tumbo Resort is a private, all-inclusive estate on Costa Rica's Osa Peninsula where your group is the only group. A personal chef handles every meal. A dedicated on-site guide coordinates every detail. You show up, you lead, and everything else is already taken care of.

The Space

The Turtle Shell Deck

An open-air yoga and teaching space suspended in the jungle canopy. Designed for movement, meditation, breathwork, circles, and workshops. Surrounded by the sounds of the rainforest with views through the trees to the Pacific. There's no studio wall between your practice and the natural world.

5 Private Acres

The entire estate is exclusively yours for the duration of your retreat. No other guests, no shared spaces, no distractions. Casa Grande, the Bungalow, the Creekside Cabina, the dipping pool, the yoga deck, the trails, the beach access — all of it, exclusively for your group.

Communal Gathering Spaces

The open-air living and dining areas at Casa Grande are built for connection. Long tables for shared meals, covered spaces for group sessions and workshops, elevated lounges for conversation and reflection. Every gathering space flows into the jungle — no doors, no walls, just open air and the sounds of the Osa.

300 Feet to Pan Dulce Beach

A world-class surf break, a pristine stretch of Pacific coastline, and the kind of beach that makes people stop and stare. Your participants will have daily access to surf, swim, paddleboard, kayak, or just walk along the sand and let the ocean do its work.

Why the Osa Peninsula

The Osa Peninsula is home to 2.5% of the world's biodiversity. National Geographic called it "the most biologically intense place on Earth." The New York Times named it #4 on their 52 Places to Visit in 2026. The BBC featured it on their 2026 best destinations list. Corcovado National Park is your neighbor. The Golfo Dulce — one of only four tropical fjords in the world — is your backyard. And Pan Dulce Beach, a world-class surf break, is a 3-minute walk from the property. New direct flights from San José to Puerto Jiménez launching in 2026 are making the Osa more accessible than ever. This is one of the last truly wild places in Central America — and it's the setting your retreat deserves.

Questions Retreat Leaders Ask

  • Yes — we can coordinate staggered arrivals. Felipe arranges transfers from Puerto Jiménez for each group as they come in. We recommend having everyone arrive on the same day if possible for the best group experience, but we're flexible.

  • Absolutely. Angelica handles vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, allergies, and any other needs across your entire group. Just share the details in advance and she'll take care of it.

  • The Turtle Shell Deck (yoga deck) is your primary teaching space — open-air, suspended in the canopy, stunning. The communal areas at Casa Grande work well for workshops, circles, and group sessions. Outdoor spaces throughout the property offer additional options for breakout sessions or quieter work.

  • Yes — Wi-Fi is available for essential communication. It's reliable enough for emails and messaging but this is the jungle, not a co-working space. We encourage retreat leaders to frame the limited connectivity as part of the experience.

  • Fly into San José, then take a Sansa Airlines domestic flight to Puerto Jiménez (daily flights, about 45 minutes). From there, Felipe arranges ground transfers — or, for a memorable arrival, he can pick up your group by boat and cruise down the coastline to the property.

  • We'd love that. Reach out and we'll coordinate a visit or a virtual walkthrough so you can see the spaces and meet the team.

  • We'll discuss terms during the inquiry process based on your specific dates and group size. We're fair and flexible — we want this to work for both sides.

Your Retreat. Our Jungle. Their Transformation.
