Felipe

Knows the Osa Peninsula like few others and has spent years helping guests explore the coastline in ways that feel fun and authentic. He also shares his gift for sound in guided healing sessions during the week.

AarOn

Raised on local waves, Aaron knows the Matapalo coastline like home.

He guides the daily surf sessions with patience, precision, and a deep understanding of the conditions, helping you build confidence in the water — from first paddles to cleaner lines down the face.

Angélica

With two decades of experience in the kitchen, she brings nourishment to life through her cooking. Every meal is made with intention and care, drawing on local ingredients and recipes that support the body after active days in the water. Her food is generous, vibrant, and made to be shared.

Sol

Sol leads the morning yoga and mobility sessions with a grounded, body-centered approach. Through breath, awareness, and functional movement, she prepares the body for surf, supports recovery, and creates space to feel steady, strong, and present in your own skin.

The Place

We'll gather in Cabo Matapalo, at the southern edge of the Osa Peninsula. Here, rainforest meets open ocean, and life moves at its own slow, wild pace.

Our home for the week is Tumbo Resort, a private beachfront property in front of Pan Dulce, with a familiar, intimate feel. Comfortable rooms, open-air spaces, and the kind of barefoot ease that makes you settle in quickly.

Just across the peninsula lies the Golfo Dulce, whose warm, protected waters become a nursery for humpback whales.

It's one of the rare times of year when mothers and their calves can be seen playing and moving through the gulf.
